Joy Donné becomes the new managing director of Flanders Investment & Trade

The Flemish Government led by Minister-President Jan Jambon appointed on April 22 2022 Joy Donné (N-VA Member of Parliament) as the new managing director for Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) - the Flemish Agency for International Entrepreneurship. Current managing director Claire Tillekaerts will retire on 1 July 2022.

After an extensive selection procedure, Joy Donné was selected by the Flemish Government as the most suitable candidate to lead Flanders Investment & Trade.

Joy Donné is holder of 3 Master Degrees: Law, Business Law & Economics and Finance which he acquired internationally. Among other things, he is active as a Director at IMMOTO (tech start-up) and a member of the Advisory Board of start-up Karamel.one.

Until 30 June 2022, Claire Tillekaerts will remain in office as managing director of FIT, the agency she joined in October 2006. From 2012 she took on the position of managing director/CEO.
